ADEK International

ADEK International is the Association of Former Trainees of the European Union. It was formed in 1966 in order to create a network of solidarity among former stagiaires of all institutions of the European Communities (European Union).
The Association's raison d'être is to maintain a network of solidarity between members; to keep a permanent dialogue between our members and the European Institutions, and to promote the central values that underpin the European integration project.
ADEK International currently has thousands of members from all over the world; each with varied careers, hobbies, interests and views, and all bonded by their different yet shared experiences of an institutional traineeship. [more]...

AEDE/EAT

The AEDE/EAT (Association Européenne des Enseignants/European Association of Teachers) is since 1956 an association for all teachers wishing to work together for the establishment of a political union of Europe with a federal structure. The AEDE/EAT is a member of the European Movement and the AEDE/EAT collaborates with the European Commission in Brussels and the European parliament, the Council of Europe and UNESCO as an NGO.

AEGEE

AEGEE (Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l'Europe) is one of the biggest interdisciplinary student associations in Europe; it is represented by 17.000 students, active in 260 academic cities, in 42 countries all around Europe, which presents amazing culture variety. Council of European Municipalities and Regions

The Council of European Municipalities was founded in Geneva in 1951 by a group of European mayors; later, it opened its ranks to the regions and became the Council of European Municipalities and Regions.
Today, it is the largest organisation of local and regional government in Europe; its members are national associations of towns, municipalities and regions from over 30 countries. Together these associations represent some 100,000 local and regional authorities. [more]

European Foundation for Street Children Worldwide (EFSCW)

The European Foundation for Street Children Worldwide (EFSCW) is a Brussels-based foundation established in 1995 by Maartje Van Putten, Member of the European Parliament from 1989 to 1999, being committed to improving the situation of children at risk, and particularly street children, on a non-profit basis. The Network unites non-governmental organisations that are committed to this cause by providing them with information and advice concerning all children and youth-related policies and assistance programmes of the European Union and by facilitating the exchange of best practices between them. The EFSCW acts as a platform for lobbying and advocacy towards the European Union, aiming at a better mutual exchange and co-operation between EU policy-making and NGOs working in the field for the improvement of the rights and living conditions of street children. With a particular operational focus on European countries, the EFSCW also acts as an information broker for NGOs worldwide on all EU-related topics and developments concerning street children.

European People's Party

ETUC

Founded in February 1973, the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) currently comprises 77 national trade union confederations and 11 federations in 35 countries. ETUC defends the interests of more than 60 million workers before the European institutions. As European social partner, ETUC endeavours to deepen the European democratic, economic and social policy dialogue. It has a powerful role in bringing out important legislation for European workers. Fair Trials Abroad

Fair Trials Abroad is a non-governmental organisation concerned with access to justice for EU citizens when involved with a criminal justice system outside their own country and works on behalf of citizens whose right to a fair trial has been violated. FTA provides advice and assistance to try and ensure the due administration of justice under international law at all stages from arrest and investigation through to conclusion of the trial process, and to help create the circumstances where this is possible.

LYMEC

European Liberal Youth (LYMEC) is a political youth organisation on the European level. LYMEC gathers more then 150 000 young people from all across Europe through its Member Organisations and Individual Membership. LYMEC works in close relationship with the European Liberal Democrats in the European Parliament (ELDR)
LYMEC considers every person as equal, but unique. The individual freedom is most valuable and needs protection. We have a strong faith in the individual and urge everyone to "Free your Mind". [more]

UEF

The Union of European Federalists (UEF) is a nongovernmental and supranational organisation dedicated to the promotion of a democratic and federal Europe. It unites constituent organisations and federalists from 20 European countries. It has been active at the European, national and local levels for more than 50 years. It was founded shortly after the World War II on the belief that only a European Federation, based on the idea of unity in diversity, could overcome the division of the European continent that had caused the sufferings and destruction of the two World Wars. Federalists believed that only a common effort of European citizens working towards this goal could create a peaceful and democratic Europe guaranteeing freedom and the protection of human rights. Women Citizens of Europe Network (RCE)

The Association Women Citizens of Europe Network (RCE) , created in 2000, has, as basic objective, the promotion and the support of the exercise of the citizenship right from the principal of equal opportunities between women and men.
Within the RCE , we are gathered a group of persons, linked by the conviction that the exercise of the fundamental rights in terms of equality is the only way for the progress of the societies, and that this progress is, today, essential for the consolidation and the development of a more articulated Europe as a supranational world.
The RCE is constituted as a forum of specialized debate, but also as an instance of elaboration of proposals, of alternatives, of articulation of documents and of studies activities that promote the equality for its presentation and defence before national public and private organisms, of any territorial environment, as well as international organizations, especially in the environment of the European Union, of the Council of Europe and of United Nations. YEPP

Youth of the European People's Party (YEPP) is a party-political youth organisation linked to the European People's Party (EPP). This is the biggest party-political group in the European Parliament, and it consists of Christian Democrats, Centre-Right and Popular Parties all over Europe. The same goes for YEPP. However membership in YEPP is not linked to EU-membership or plans for accession. YEPP organises more than 1 million young people in 53 national member organisations, covering 35 European countries.
